Welcome to Vila Sol Junior Academy

Vila Sol  has 27 holes of Championship Golf which meander through the rolling terrain and iconic pine groves. The course provides a challenging test of golf for its members and visitors and is held in high regard by all. 

The Club is also known as one of the most friendly and active for its membership, with events and tournaments all year.

The Clubhouse is a great venue for members and guests with a reception & shop, large terrace, bar and restaurant service. .. So, parents can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant terrace, or relax with a refreshing beverage while the kids practice and develop their skills at the golf academy.

Vila Sol was founded in 1990 and has gained a reputation as one of most friendly, family-orientated clubs in the Algarve.  

What was missing was a Junior Academy, so a group of enthusiastic parents with junior players & the Head Coach of Vila Sol, Eddie Charnock, decided to open a Junior Academy on May 1st 2021. Its mission is to introduce kids into golf and develop juniors’ skills from understanding the rules & etiquette of golf to learning the long game & improve their short games. Thanks to Vila Sol Golf Club's amazing facilities and the excellent coaching from our team of professionals, the Juniors are in great hands.
